Alzheimer NF: A Mind Erased
It starts subtly. A forgotten word. A missed appointment. Lost keys.
And then it gets worse—memories begin to fade, conversations break off, questions remain unanswered. The person you love slowly slips away right before your eyes.
Our comic tells the true story of a family that had to face Alzheimer's disease. It captures the first symptoms as well as the daily struggles, showing how deeply the illness affects not only the patient but also their loved ones, while clearly explaining the basic facts about the disease.
By supporting this project, you will not only learn an authentic story, but also contribute to the work of Alzheimer NF—a nonprofit organization focused on professionals involved in research, diagnosis, and treatment, and one that also helps families whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer’s disease.
The proceeds from the fundraising campaign will be donated to support the operation of the Alzheimer Point counseling center.
The center provides free counseling to caregivers as well as to people with cognitive impairment.
The comic is dedicated to the memory of Miha Kastelic.
